WE’RE SO OFTEN STUCK IN OUR HEADS

The gentle whispers of our body getting drowned out by the busyness of our days - all the things we have to hold, show up for, plan, give to, and do.

We’ve become so good at doing, that we often forget how to be.

And being doesn’t always mean lying down.

It’s about reconnecting to our body and how we feel (instead of just following the thoughts in our head). This allows our nervous system - the central switchboard that controls everything - to begin to wind down, settle, and move into a more relaxed state.


Most of us have nervous systems that are stuck in some kind of overwhelm, and minds that are so filled with thoughts, that we can’t feel our own way.

We get blocked. Stuck.


Overwhelm in the nervous system can LOOK like:

  • Snapping at your kids when you really don’t mean to

  • Feeling anxious about the smallest thing

  • Constantly overthinking or churning things over in your mind

  • Feeling disconnected from your loved ones

  • Needing to have an extra big glass of wine at the end of the day, just so you can wind down

  • Forgetting to do simple tasks

  • Feeling exhausted all the time

  • Not sleeping well

  • Feeling so confused about what to do next, you just want to hide under the duvet all day
